July 4th Inspired Look – McCall’s 7574 + 7576

July 4th Inspiration - ROSY | PENA

Hi BEAUTIES! It feels like forever since I’ve been able to write that. 😉  Thank you to those of you who came up to say hello at the Mimi G sewing conference a few weeks ago, it meant so much to me. I was a horrible blogger though and didn’t get many photos to share from the trip but there are a few that I will re-cap on my Facebook PAGE.

I reviewed the patterns for you below and encourage you to try them both. They’re super beginner friendly! No zips or any tricky bits to it. 🙂

I have some exciting news that I want to share with you all but I will do it in the form of video. Enjoy today’s post and I will be back with a sewing machine/serger review and chatty update video on YOUTUBE. XO Thank you all so much for reading and following my blog, you really mean the world to be! – Rosy. July 4th Inspiration - ROSY | PENA

  1. These are adorable on you and the choice of the verticle stripe was perfect! I have this pattern and was searching to get an idea of fit etc, am definitely inspired to make it now!

    1. Thank you April! A vertical stripe is a great trick to appear taller, It’s always a good option though! The fit is pretty straight forward on this one they size you into a group based on your measurements and you ultimately choose the fit around the body with your elastic. I’m SO glad you’re inspired to make it! You’ll love it! XO
